Welcome to my academic website!

Currently, I'm an Assistant Professor of Computer Engineering at the American University of Kuwait (AUK). I'm the Computer Engineering Program Lead. Before joining the AUK in 2009, I was an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Dhofar University (DU) in the green city of Salalah, Sultanate of Oman. At DU, I was the chairperson of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.

My arrival to DU came after spending two years in Lebanon as a lecturer at the American University of Beirut (AUB), Lebanese American University (LAU), Beirut Arab University (BAU), and Hariri Canadian University (HCU).

In August 2004, I completed my Ph.D. degree at London South Bank University (LSBU), London, United Kingdom. At LSBU, I was a member of the Institute for Computing Research.

At present, I'm a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (SMIEEE). I'm also a member of the Order of Engineers and Architects of Beirut. My biography is included in the Who’s Who in the World 2009 and 2005, and the Who’s Who in Science and Engineering 2006.
